The limits
- Tracks are kept on the phone for 30 days, then removed automatically, oldest first. The Tracks tab counts down before anything goes.
- No backup: if the phone is lost or the app is removed, what is on it is gone.
- Map areas you download stay until you delete them. Maps you only browse are kept up to 300 MB, oldest removed first.
- One person only: the team map, chat, dispatch, shared fields, machines and the owner portal need a farm account.
Install and set up
- On your Android phone, tap Download for Android.
- Open the downloaded file. If Android asks, allow your browser to install unknown apps, then tap Install.
- Open Farm Cropper and allow location and notifications.
- To keep recording with the screen off: when the app asks, tap Open app settings, then Permissions > Location > "Allow all the time".
- When the app asks to keep tracking in the background, tap Allow. If your phone has a Battery setting for the app, choose "Unrestricted".
